After nearly four months on the run and taunting the police, Craig Lynch, the Facebook Fugitive, has been caught.

Lynch, who escaped Hollesly Bay Prison a few months ago, regularly taunted police and bragged about his escapades on his Facebook page.

The former prisoner had gathered a huge following, up to nearly 13,000 people followed his antics on fan pages and his own account. Other sources claim the numbers following him may have been closer to 40,000.

He had been serving a seven year sentence for armed robbery.

The police had three chances to catch him at Christmas, but much to Lynches amusement they failed.

He posted this picture of himself holding a turkey saying : “If any of you was doubtin my freedom. Here’s proof. How the fuck could i get my hands on a bird like this in jail. ha ha.”

He also posted plans to go to a shopping mall and even updated his status describing what he was carrying around the mall.

He also described his plans to go to a New Years Eve party.

Lynch, who escaped in September, was caught on Tuesday night by Scotland Yard.
