This week, Facebook is buzzing with the new trend of Doppelgangers.

Basically you change your profile picture to a celebrity you look like.

Now, not only is it showing us which of our friends are utterly delusional, it’s also illegal and breaches Facebook terms and conditions. according to The Download Squad.

It has been stated by users on Download Squad that the trend should fall under fair use.

“You will not post content or take any action on Facebook that infringes or violates someone else’s rights or otherwise violates the law…We can remove any content or information you post on Facebook if we believe that it violates this Statement.”

Facebook T.O.S

But Facebook doesn’t seem to have any problems with the trend.

Brandee Barker, a spokeswoman for Facebook, told Cnet : “Users are responsible for the content they post, but as always, Facebook will respond to requests for removal that it receives from copyright holders. In this case, we have received no such requests.”

So sit back an relax and enjoy noting who among your friends think that big lips mean they look like Angelina.
