Site Updates 1-10-2009

As you can see, the site has been going through numerous changes as of late.

We’ve been playing around with the theme, look and feel of the place, we’ve added Forums and we’ve also added a Media Centre.

Things are still finding their place, exploding and imploding and basically being a pain in the arse, but we are getting there.

You’ll also notice to the right hand side, mid page, a handy little sidebar that holds a few handy options and infos neatly.

The front page is still under heavy assault, we have got a nice widget that will display articles in a cool scrolling manner, but thats proving tricky to get just right. We liked the Current.com or Download.com style scrolly thing, so we will be trying to get that sorted.

Media Centre will house videos from our Youtube channel, as well as any other media we can squeeze in.

The forums will hopefully develop into a place were people can make suggestions on what we cover and the overall feel of the site.

Sidebar will just free up some space and be less of an eyesore.

Also this week, two more contributors have posted something.

MrFonnen and Galvasean have both been tagged in for a while, so with all the change occuring, its nice to see some articles from them.

So, TL;DR :

Media Centre is up.

Forums are up.

Theme is still being played with.

Sidebar has been added.

Home page is being worked on.

More widgets being tested and tweaked.
