Dodgey film alert!

This straight to DVD monster movie looks…well, to put it mildy, shit.

A British zombie film that only cost 45 pounds is to be a big hit at Cannes.

Mingling with films like Inglorious Bastards, the film,Colin, is a story told from the zombies point of view.

Marc Price, the director, has said that they have a deal with Japanese film distributors and there will be a dubbed version.

 

Wikimedia to add Creative Commons license to articles

 

75 percent of the wikimedia community voted for the licenses to be added.

The board of trustees has not approved the decision as of yet, but seem to approve the decision to use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales said “It’s a critically necessary change for the future of Wikimedia."

 

Abuse Report Finished

A 2,600-page report about abuse in Ireland has finally been published after nearly a ten year wait.

The report shows many cases of rape, physical abuse and humiliation to young children in religious schools and goes back as far as the 1930s.

Many of the victims are in their 60s and 80s

The report shows that the Catholic Church knowingly shielded pedophiles. Church orders also resisted the probe, used their positions in power to protect members of their orders that abused innocent children.

The report is 5 volumes, and the very thought of what it contains is sickening. For those of you that want to know more, the report can be found here. 

 

Pregnancy Viral Video tries to scare Teens

Health officials in Leicester is trying to use a graphic video to scare British teenagers into being more careful about sex.

The video,which has been uploaded and removed more than once on YouTube.

People have complained that it is too graphic.

The video shows a young girl in labour on a football field surrounded by other teenagers.

As she screams in pain the video her on their camera phones.

The original upload quickly had more than 250,000 views.

In the city,the stats show that their are 50 conceptions per 1,000 girls aged 15-17 years.

The health specialists have said that other attempts to educate teenagers were attacked by them(teens) as being preachy, and they preferred more humorous or shocking videos.
