And wow, have we missed some amazing stuff. Lotsa big things happened while I’ve been away.
So put on your safety gear, and get ready from an info burst.

Sad News…
While i was away John Keel died.
He passed away on July the 3rd.
Keel was a journalist, writer and very much into Fortean theories.
Something I thought about actually happened!
After my triumphant return from the Land of Sun and Poison i was sent a link.
http://www.piratepartyireland.com/
Yes, when i was covering the Pirate Bay case i grumbled something about having an Irish Pirate Party.
First day back properly on the web and i’m greeted by this!
Best of luck to them and hopefully they’ll have good ideas and a fresh approach to things.
Orca Pod seen off Irish coast…and i missed it!
Over on the Irish Times site had the story about Orcas being spotted off Achill on June 24th.
Amazing creatures and seeing them still kicking around put a smile on my face.
Pimping…
Mr.Fonnen (yes, he chose that as his web name) linked me to some awesome web stuff when i returned, including Gearoid Molloy and his webcomic Neko the Kitty.
Its great stuff and i’ll be doing more on this as soon as stuff is sorted.
till then, click the link!
The Ironing is Delicious…
You may know Darragh Doyle from clicking the links page on this site or from Boards or from his successful Twittering.
Well, while browsing Darraghs site i could not stop laughing. Seems the man who is seriously anti spam has gotten a taste of what his enemies have been feeling at his hands. Suspended account.
Darragh posts lots of Tweets about spammers, giving us the heads up on dodge links, accounts and companies, as well as notifying us of general bull shit and AWFUL jokes.
suspension notice
As they say on the net, the ironing is delicious. Poor Darragh.
Boards boys on the Radio…
Darragh and Dav (click link for Davs site) have been chatting to the legend Dusty Rhodes on PCLive about boards.
Click HERE to listen to it.
The lovely folk at Pix.ie are LOVELY!
Having returned from Australia, myself and FC obviously have lotsa pictures to upload to the web. 2 gigabytes worth to be exact.
Now, we could have said feck it, we’ll sign up to something that’ll hold all our stuff.
But i like supporting good friendly sites.
See the problem i faced was that Pix.ie, my favourite photosharing site, has a 500MB a month quota.
When i said this to Marcus, he quickly upped my quota to 2 Gigs, just for asking.
Now that is service.
Cheers guys.
and finally…Here be Monsters!
While i was away there were lots of strange, creepy and silly things going on.
Here are two of my favourites:
Giant Blob – Source and Comments
Military Robot- Source and Comments
well thats it as far as my notes are telling me, i think i’m back on track.
Thanks for reading, more is on the way.
