He says in the video the Haitian people made a pact with the devil to free them from the French, but have been cursed ever since.
Officials in Haiti fear that maybe as many as 100,000 people have been killed in the disaster.
Buildings such as the Presidents palace, cathedrals, hospitals and schools have all collapsed. Officials also worry there may be several criminals on the streets after prisons fell.
The Red Cross has said up to a third of Haiti’s nine million inhabitants could be in need of emergency aid.
Robertson has said Hugo Chavez should be assassinated and that Scotland was a dark land overrun with homosexuals.
It should be noted that he holds an uncommon theological stance not usually held by Southern Baptists and due to unsuccessful political attempts holds no official church office.
