The Crazies 2010

Following on from our look at upcoming films that might be great   we were sent a link to the Crazies.

The film is a remake of the 1973 George A Romero film of the same name.

Set in Iowa, the film tells the story of a small towns fight for survival when many of the inhabitants are infected my a mysterious toxin that makes them insane and homicidal. The government tries to contain the outbreak using the army and the townsfolk are trapped, desperate to escape being infected or being killed by their now psychotic neighbours.

The film is set for release in America at the end of February.

We’re big Romero fans here, so fingers crossed this will be good.
