Zuckerberg Twitter Rant

The sister of Facebook man Mark is in the news online for a little rant on Twitter.

Official word is that she was joking and it wasn’t a threat, but shes not making any friends (lol, see what i did there) with that kind of attitude.

“This comment was clearly intended as a light-hearted joke. It goes without saying that there is no intended consequence beyond voicing a personal opinion.”

The rant came after she had a bad night out, and was quickly screengrabbed before it was inevitably taken down.

Online communities (like Boards.ie) will put up with a sort of dictatorship, as long as they don’t get slapped about too much.

When you ban someone, you ban them for a reason, trolling, breach of rules(put in place to protect the site/users) etc.

When you mess with them too much, they can and will turn. There are already lots of comments online about how Randi is not liked.

I understand it was a joke, but for a site as big as Facebook, it can be skewed and turned against them.

I laughed at one comment : “I think the real story is that the first place she goes to speak her mind is Twitter, not facebook”
